b) By visiting the website, Google (Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, Fax: +353 (1) 436 1001) receives information about which page or subpage of our website you have accessed. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and to exercise this right you should contact Google.

c) For further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by the plug-in provider, please refer to the user conditions, the overview of data protection and the provider’s data protection declarations. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
§ 5 Integration of social media

No social media plugins are set, but so-called social bookmarks. These are only integrated on this website as a link to the corresponding services. After clicking on the integrated graphic, the user is forwarded to the page of the respective provider. In addition, in the case of a forwarding of an internet page via the “Share this content” button, there is the possibility that the corresponding internet page becomes visible on Twitter, Facebook, etc. and can be seen there as activity in the respective profile of the user.

a) Twitter
The JCI Berlin International uses the technical platform and services of Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103 U.S.A. for the short message service offered here. The data controller for persons living outside the United States is Twitter International Company, One Cumberland Place, Fenian Street, Dublin 2 D02 AX07, Ireland.
We would like to point out that you use the Twitter short message service offered here and its functions under your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. sharing, rating).

Information on which data is processed by Twitter and for which purposes can be found in Twitter’s privacy policy: https://twitter.com/de/privacy.
Twitter Inc. has committed itself to the principles of the EU-US Privacy Shield. More details can be found at:

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participantid=a2zt0000000TORzAAO&status=Active

The JCI Berlin International has no influence on the type and scope of the data processed by Twitter, the type of processing and use or the transfer of this data to third parties. Nor does it have any effective means of control in this respect. By using Twitter, your personal data is collected, transferred, stored, disclosed and used by Twitter Inc. and, in doing so, transferred to the United States, Ireland and any other country in which Twitter Inc. does business, and stored and used there, regardless of your place of residence. On the one hand, Twitter processes your voluntarily entered data such as name and user name, email address, telephone number or the contacts in your address book when you upload or synchronise this. On the other hand, Twitter also evaluates the content you share to determine what topics you are interested in, stores and processes confidential messages that you send directly to other users and can determine your location using GPS data, information on wireless networks or your IP address in order to send you advertising or other content.

Twitter Inc. may use analysis tools such as Twitter or Google Analytics for evaluation purposes. The Berlin Junior Chamber of Commerce has no influence on the use of such tools by Twitter Inc. and has not been informed about such potential use. If tools of this kind are used by Twitter Inc. for the account of the IHK Berlin, the IHK Berlin has neither commissioned nor approved this nor supported it in any other way. The data obtained during the analysis is also not made available to us. Only certain non-personal information about tweet activity, such as the number of profile or link clicks by a particular tweet, can be viewed by the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce via its account. Moreover, the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce has no way of preventing or turning off the use of such tools on its Twitter account.

Finally, Twitter also receives information when you view content, for example, even if you have not created an account. This so-called “log data” may be the IP address, browser type, operating system, information about the website you previously visited and the pages you viewed, your location, your mobile provider, the terminal device you use (including device ID and application ID), the search terms you used and cookie information.

Through Twitter buttons or widgets embedded in websites and the use of cookies, it is possible for Twitter to record your visits to these websites and associate them with your Twitter profile. This data can be used to offer content or advertising tailored to you. As Twitter Inc. is a non-European provider with a European branch only in Ireland, it is not bound by German data protection regulations according to its own interpretation. This concerns, for example, your rights to information, blocking or deletion of data or the possibility to object to the use of usage data for advertising purposes.

You have options to restrict the processing of your data in the general settings of your Twitter account and under the item “Data protection and security”. In addition, you can restrict Twitter’s access to contact and calendar data, photos, location data, etc. on mobile devices (smartphones, tablet computers) in the settings options there. However, this depends on the operating system used.

Further information on these points is available on the following Twitter support pages:

§ 6 Further services from third-party providers

Our website uses content, services and performances from third-party providers. These are, for example, tools for analysing user behaviour or the display of geographical maps or videos. In order for the services to be made available, it is mandatory that the IP address of your end device is transmitted to the third-party provider. However, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored. The third-party providers are listed below.

a) Map service from Google Maps
On our website, we use Google Maps (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) in various places to display maps and to create directions. By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of automatically collected data and data provided by you by Google, one of its representatives or third parties.

For Google Maps, please see the Terms of Use under Terms of Use for Google Maps and the Privacy Policy under Privacy Policy at Google.
Google may transfer the information obtained through Google Maps to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. It cannot be ruled out that Google will associate your IP address with other data held by Google. It is technically possible that Google could identify at least individual users on the basis of the data received. We have no influence on the fact that personal data and personality profiles of users of the website are processed by Google for other purposes. You have the option of deactivating the Google Maps service in a simple manner and thus preventing the transfer of data to Google.
To do this, deactivate JavaScript in your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you will not be able to use the map display.

b) Display of YouTube videos
On our website, we have integrated videos from the provider YouTube (YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc. with headquarters at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).

When you play the videos, a connection to a YouTube server is established. This transmits to YouTube which of our Internet pages you have visited.

If you are logged in to YouTube as a member, YouTube assigns this information to your personal user account. When you use the service, such as clicking on the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your YouTube user account and other user accounts of the companies YouTube LLC and YouTube LLC before using our website.
